What to expect
You will be asked to share your symptom history and will be asked detailed questions about your problems,
You may then be asked to undress sufficiently to enable an examination, involving movement and joint assessments,
Muscles and tissues may need to be assessed using a highly skilled sense of touch, known as palpation,
Your problem will then be diagnosed and your treatment discussed. The treatment is hands-on and will be tailored specifically to you and may include gentle cranial osteopathic techniques, massage, mobilisation and spinal manipulation,
If necessary, and with your permission, your GP may be contacted regarding your care,
Usually you will be asked to return for further treatments or for a check-up.
